NNPWE and Partners Strengthen Community-Led Monitoring Efforts

In a collaborative push to enhance accountability in Ethiopia's HIV response, the National Network of Positive Women Ethiopians (NNPWE) joined forces with UNAIDS, NEP+, and ASKUS for a high-level meeting in April 2024. The discussions focused on advancing Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) initiatives, with UNAIDS committing to support regional learning and experience-sharing programs. This partnership builds on NNPWE's CLM Training Manual, empowering women living with HIV to monitor service quality and advocate for better access to reproductive health and gender-sensitive care. As Ethiopia nears its 95-95-95 targets, these efforts underscore the vital role of community voices in sustaining progress.
